| According to the statistics from the chimney-sweepers there are today approx. 270 000 house boilers that principally are fired with wood and to this another approx. 80 000 oil boilers that are possible to convert to pellets- or wood burning. To this we should add 1 100 000 local hearths of different kinds. From these 340 000 are swept every year since the owner have reported that they have been used as heat source, the hidden statistics can here might be quite big. The use of bio energy in small houses can from this be estimated to a little more than 14 TWh, which is almost a quarter of the home heating. |
