About Solar Energy
Solar energy combined with bio energy

Many deliverers can today offer standard systems. Besides water heaters with solar panels you can today buy standard packages for combination with wood burning and pellet boilers.
The manufacturers also have been able to develop a so called drive package consisting of all system equipment (control, circulation pump, expansion tank, safety valve etc). That way both the sales - and installation work are facilitated.
The solar panels are normally placed on the roof of your house. Inside them there are pipes with liquid that is rapidly being heated from the solar beams. The pipes continue into the house and lead the hot liquid to e.g. an accumulator tank or water heater.
The pipes coming from the solar panels are led in to a coil on the bottom of the tank. The coil heats up the water in the accumulator tank, before the pipes continue out from the tank and up on the roof again. Which means the pipes with the sun heated liquid is a closed system.
It is important to keep the temperature on the bottom of the tank as low as possible, since it increases the chance that the sun heated liquid in the coil of piping from the roof is warmer than the water on the bottom of the tank. This way a solar panel can give heat to the tank. This is made possible by the construction of the accumulator tank.
The solar heat decreases the energy costs to heat hot water and contribute to the heating. The solar heat increases the flexibility of the heat system at the same time as the vulnerability decreases. The solar heat system at the same time increases the independence in the heat supply.
